David Archuleta stops in Seattle for an in-studio live interview at KISS 106.1 FM. During the Jackie and Bender morning show.

Some of the highlights:

  • Part way into the interview, David discovered there were cameras in the studio webcasting live.
  • He states that for Junior High he went to Hillcrest and then Murray for High School. While in 7th grade he went to a charter school south of Murray.
  • They asked him what is the hardest thing to get used to? He replied “I kinda always go with the flow, but I guess not being at Home. It’s weird not being in your own bed.”
  • After this radio stop, he is headed to Chicago and on to Milwaukee.
  • His friend, whose nickname is Fish, calls him lettuce boy. He states he loves lettuce and went on to tell the story why one of his nicknames is lettuce boy.
  • Some people thought he was dating Miley Cyrus for a while, and Taylor Swift, even though she is like two feet taller than him.
  • In reference to his dad and family, he stated that they all get along. Never had any fights with them.
  • Doesn’t know yet what he is doing for his eighteenth birthday.
  • The show recorded his laugh and played it over and over. He stated “I hate my laugh, I can’t stand my laugh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.”
  • During commercial breaks they played several songs like “I’m Yours” and David was seen bobbing his head and singing along to all the songs.
